Meet Your Councillors

Come to the Mahogany Neighbourhood Centre on Tuesday evening, December 14, at 7:00pm to have a chance to meet your local Council members. Our new Mayor, Kris Bolam, is one of the elected Council representatives from our area, along with Brad Hill and Glenn Aitken. These forums are a chance for you to get questions answered and put forward new ideas to improve our area. Everyone is welcome and the event is free of charge.

CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL TONIGHT, FRIDAY December 3rd, 2010!

Come at 5:00pm top enjoy the kids games with Fusion, then at 6-7:30pm for carol singing in Monterey Park (MEL 99K8). Everyone welcome.

Frankston Mayor, Christine Richards, presented certificates of recognition to the 6 members of the original Frankston North Community Group, Inc. founding members at our recent celebration.

VCAT Application withdrawn

The Frankston North Community Group made an application to VCAT because of our concern that sections of the Pines Flora and Fauna Reserve would be bulldozed before the native animals and vegetation could be removed. We were unsuccessful in this because works associated with Peninsula Link began before the application was heard. On advice that our application was too late to have an effect, it was withdrawn on the 4th of October 2010.
